In the same vain as the Evil Ernie Vs the Super Heroes series this pits Ernie in a what-if situation where Ernie gets to battle some of the all time greatest movie monsters in a very one sided confrontation.
After Ernest Gleckman is mortally wounded, he discovers he must “pay down his new lease on life” by serving as a part time fixer for a death cult. Each time he manifests his dark side as Evil Ernie it becomes harder to maintain his tenuous grip on his inherently good humanity.
Ernest Gleckman is a good kid with exceptional grades in his senior year at college…his only quirk is the rock band he sings in every Saturday night. He enjoys the rock esthetic and “dressing the role” if not acting like a nihilistic punk.
All that is changed when he assumes the role of… Evil Ernie who is the polar opposite of Ernest. Ernie is vicious and cruel and sadistic as he employs all manner of torture or murder (or oft-times both!) against his targets.
Evil Ernie has lost contact with his love the Lady Death. Distracted from his mission of Megadeath he goes in search of his missing mistress and will move all of Hell and Earth in order to find her. Read as old friends are reunited and Ernie makes bargains with his oldest enemies in order to be reunited with his one true love.

In this series, Evil has cleared the Eastern Seaboard of human life and now is turning his attention inland. Meanwhile Dr Price and Dr Young are now charged with putting a stop to the undead maniac. They explore the very beginnings of Ernie’s undead rampage and come up with a plan to take him down and sever him from the power that keeps him going once and for all. Smiley button’s personality starts to come to the front as he advises Ernie on tactics and the special relationship between them is explored. Meanwhile in Hell Lady Death is tormented by visions and is unable to control her own kingdom as a winged tormentor haunted her every move.
