Sword Master (2019)

Sword Master (Lin Lie) is a fictional Chinese superhero appearing in the Marvel Universe. The character was created for the Chinese market by artist Gunji and writer Shuizhu in a collaboration between Marvel Comics and NetEase.

After debuting in Chinese digital comics in 2018, Sword Master made his American comics debut in War of the Realms, New Agents of Atlas before starring in his own series. His series features translations of the original Chinese comics and new material by Greg Pak teaming up with Shang-Chi.

As a young man, Lin Lie receives an ancient sword by his archaeologist father who found it while excavating a 5,000-year-old tomb. Sword Master is the last descendant of Fuxi, and his Fuxi Sword has mysterious magical powers.

Spider-Man Family (2007)

Spider-Man Family (later retitled The Amazing Spider-Man Family) began as a series of one-shots written and penciled by various writers and artists before becoming a bi-monthly ongoing series with the first issue cover-dated February 2007. Its initial writer was Sean McKeever. Each issue of Spider-Man Family contained brand new stories featuring Spider-Man and his supporting cast, reprints of classic Spider-Man tales, and an English translation of the original Japanese manga, Spider-Man J.

Nova V6 (2016)

Foolkiller (1990)

Steve Gerber’s Foolkiller miniseries, illustrated by JJ Birch, was published from October 1990 to October 1991. It focused on a new character, Kurt Gerhardt who had reached a state of homicidal despair after the random murder of his father, a divorce, the loss of his bank job (part of the saving and loan crisis), and being brutally robbed at his new job in a fast-food restaurant.

Each version of the Foolkiller primarily used a “purification gun,” a pistol capable of shooting a laser-like beam of energy capable of totally incinerating a human being within seconds. They also used mobile computer systems and surveillance systems to locate and track victims.

All of the Foolkillers have been athletic men with no superhuman powers, and all are criminally insane. Gerhardt was skilled in basic hand-to-hand combat and had developed a high tolerance for pain. He was also a good strategist and a master of disguise.

Spider-Geddon (2018)

Spider-Geddon is a 2018 comic book limited series and crossover storyline featuring multiple alternative versions of Spider-Man that had appeared in various media, and his supporting cast. In this sequel to Spider-Verse, the Inheritors have found a way out of the decimated world they were imprisoned on and are now determined to take their revenge on the Spider-Army and feed on them once again.

Secret Warriors V1 (2009)

The original team which was featured in the first Secret Warriors series was created by Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev in Mighty Avengers #13, and debuted as a team in Secret Invasion #3, both published in 2008 and then featured in their own ongoing series. This series was co-plotted by Bendis with Jonathan Hickman writing and was one of the titles launching as part of the Dark Reign storyline.

X-Men Blue (2017 )

X-Men Blue and its sister book, X-Men Gold, were created following the crossover series Inhumans vs. X-Men. The new titles were announced October 21, 2016 as part of the ResurrXion brand. The color-coded names are a reference to storylines from the early 1990s when various comics in the X-Men franchise were best-sellers. The first issue was released April 12, 2017 and subsequent issues were released twice monthly. The storyline in X-Men Blue is a continuation of the 2012 series All New X-Men. In February 2018, the spin-off sister book X-Men Red was released.

Black Panther V4 (2005)

T’Challa recounts the story of his ascension as the Black Panther in the fourth volume of his eponymous comic book series. He defeated his uncle during the Black Panther celebration,[61] and during his walkabout when he met and fell in love with a street urchin named Ororo in Cairo, Egypt.[62] Unbeknownst to him the US government is planning a coup in order to get access to the vibranium. They allow Klaw to recruit a team of villains in order to support his totalitarian neighbor, Niganda. Klaw recruits RhinoBlack KnightBatroc the Leaper, and Radioactive Man to lead the invasion. The US government then deploys an army of Deathloks to “support” T’Challa and justify an invasion, but T’Challa kills Klaw and Storm wipes out the Deathlok army in a hurricane.
