Amazing X-Men – V1 (1995)

The original Amazing X-Men was a four-issue limited series that replaced X-Men during the 1995alternate universe storyline Age of Apocalypse, in which all X-titles were given new names and issue numbers. The Amazing X-Men consisted of team leader Quicksilver and Storm, Dazzler,Banshee, Iceman, and Exodus. The team is sent to Maine by Magneto to aid in the evacuation of humanity to Europe. During this mission, the team fights Apocalypse’s Brotherhood of Chaos, as well as the Horseman Abyss, who is defeated (but not killed) by Banshee. During their absence from the Xavier Mansion, Magneto and Bishop are attacked by Apocalypse himself, who captures them both. Fulfilling their mission, Quicksilver splits up his team to help the other X-Men: sending Iceman to rendezvous with Rogue‘s team (the Astonishing X-Men) and Dazzler and Exodus to find Magneto’s son, Charles. Finally, Quicksilver, Storm, and Banshee go to rescue Bishop, who is in the hands of the Madri, Apocalypse’s priests.

The Incredible Hercules (2008)

The Incredible Hercules was an ongoing series written by Greg Pak and Fred Van Lente and published by Marvel Comics. The series starred the mythological superhero Hercules, his sidekick Amadeus Cho, the seventh-smartest person in the world, and half-sister Athena.

The series began in the aftermath of World War Hulk with The Incredible Hulk receiving a title and focus change to Hercules. Though the title does not change until issue #113 the first issue of the first story arc of The Incredible Hercules appears in issue #112. The ongoing series concluded with issue #141 in February 2010, with two succeeding miniseries announced. This was followed by Chaos War.

Vision (2016)

In 2016 Vision was given a solo series. He lives in Fairfax, Virginia with a synthazoid family: his wife Virginia, son Vin, and daughter Viv. They attempt to live a normal suburban life with Vision working as a consultant to the president, but they find a difficult time socializing with neighbors. Eventually Grim Reaper attacks their house and nearly kills Viv. Virginia claims that the Reaper escaped, but The Vision eventually finds his remains buried in the back yard. He lies to the police and covers for her when asked about her whereabouts during the murder of neighbors, who tried to blackmail Virginia for the murder, but was accidentally killed by her. Instead of confronting her, he creates a sythezoid dog for the family, in an attempt to return to normalcy, but unbeknownst to him Agatha Harkness has a vision of the future and tries to warn the Avengers that The Vision and his family will cause a genocide.

Daredevil V6 (2019)

Thunderbolts V2 (2013)

A new team composed of Red Hulk, Deadpool, Elektra, Agent Venom, and Punisher debuted as a part of Marvel NOW! major relaunch. Written by Daniel Way with drawings by Steve Dillon. This incarnation is not a government-sponsored team.

Red Hulk assembles his incarnation of the Thunderbolts to be a strike team that is close to “Code Red.” He has gathered Deadpool, Elektra, Punisher, and Agent Venom because “their conditions cannot be cured.” Red Hulk has his Thunderbolts do things that are similar to X-Force. Red Hulk has obtained Samuel Sterns’ body and hooks it up to a machine that emits Red Gamma Radiation onto Samuel Sterns. Deadpool later finds Samuel Sterns’ as a Red Leader with no apparent powers as he expresses his view that the Punisher won’t be pleased. Punisher finds Red Leader’s body and shoots him between the eyes disrupting whatever plans Red Hulk has for Red Leader.

Spider-Force (2018)

Guardians of the Galaxy V2 (2008)

The second volume of the title was published in May 2008, written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning and featured a new team of characters from the Annihilation: Conquest storyline.

Abnett and Lanning’s work on the Annihilation: Conquest story laid the foundation for the new Guardians of the Galaxy book that they had been wanting to launch for some time. The title ran parallel with Nova vol. 4, which was also written by Abnett and Lanning. The two crossed over in the storylines “War of Kings” and “Realm of Kings“. Paul Pelletier pencilled the first seven issues. Brad Walker and Wes Craig alternated pencilling tasks from #8 to #25.

The book was cancelled in April 2010 with issue 25. Some plot threads were concluded in The Thanos Imperative 1–6 and its two one-shots (May 2010 – Jan 2011).

Amazing Spider-Man V5 (2018)

Sensational Spider-Man (1996)

The ongoing The Sensational Spider-Man series was initially conceived to be the flagship showcase for the new Ben Reilly version of Spider-Man. It replaced the Web of Spider-Man series.

The initial seven issues (#0–6, January–July 1996) were written and pencilled by Dan Jurgens, who had helped revive interest in Superman for DC Comics in the mid-1990s. Jurgens pushed strongly for the restoration of Peter Parker as the true Spider-Man and plans were made to enact this soon, but Bob Harras, the new Editor-in-Chief, demanded the story be deferred until after the Onslaught crossover. Jurgens had by this stage become disillusioned with the immense amount of group planning and constant changes of ideas and directions. He took this as the last straw, resigning from the title.

He was succeeded by writer Todd DeZago and penciller Mike Wieringo, who remained as the title’s regular creative team for the remainder of its run. It lasted for 35 issues (33 regularly numbered issues, as well as an initial issue #0 and the #-1 Flashback issue, released mid-run).

 

Uncanny X-Men V4 (2015)

As part of All-New, All-Different Marvel, Uncanny X-Men was relaunched, written by Cullen Bunn with art by Greg Land. The relaunched Uncanny X-Men team features Magneto leading Psylocke, Archangel, M, Mystique, Fantomex and Sabretooth while a different team led by Storm will be called the Extraordinary X-Men. Cyclops’s fate after Battleworld is shown to us in the Death of X miniseries. (Cyclops was exposed to the Terrigen Mist and died from M-Pox.).[57]

The tagline for the relaunched series is “Bigger threats require more threatening X-Men”, and is considered to be a continuation of Bunn’s previous work on the Magneto solo series. The series will deal with threats that arise as a result of a new, more dangerous world post-Secret Wars. Summing up the team, Bunn states “They’re upholding Xavier’s dream, but they have no right to do so.”
